This is Maryland's side of Assateague Island: 342 campsites, most of them reservable from the last week of April through the last weekend of October. Maryland opens each date 365 days ahead at 9 a.m. Not the same as the National Seashore campgrounds next door, which book on Recreation.gov 6 months ahead.
